About

It started with one soap bar in Blender. Then another. At some point it stopped being just a 3D exercise and turned into a brand. Hello Mist is a fictional Nordic soap company. The values are simple: natural ingredients, no unnecessary chemicals, traditional production methods, and an appreciation for imperfection. Every soap bar has a unique swirl pattern, no two look the same.

Brand & Packaging

The packaging is based on a matchbox structure - simple, honest, easy to open. Kraft paper felt like the right material for the brand.

Each variant is identified by a simple symbol referencing the Scandinavian landscape. The shapes are abstract but immediately readable — a wave for fjord, a circle for ice, a branching form for tree, a leaf for greenery. The same symbols appear as die-cut openings in the packaging front.

What I learned

This project taught me that following an idea out of curiosity (without a brief or a client) can lead somewhere real. What started as a technical exercise with 3D became a complete brand with its own values and visual language. The AI visualisation stage was its own challenge: learning to direct Firefly to create product photography through language instead of a camera.
